The idea that Trump is stupid or doesn't know what he's doing obfuscates the reality that everything he does carries an intentionality: He's just redistributing wealth from the poor to the rich.
Corporations passed the cost of the tariffs to the consumers, but the refunds go to the corporations.

Capitalists love to claim that the profit motive is the driver of all progress while also explaining that you can’t have anything nice (affordable healthcare/child care/education/retirement, clean water and air, peace among nations, etc) because it wouldn’t be profitable.
Liberals: Please understand that when you purge the Dem party of the anti-war left, that means there’s nobody in the government willing or able to prevent what is happening now.
It’s not enough to vote against the red team. The blue team has to stand for something or we’re screwed either way.
I just want everyone to know I love tulips
Sometimes the truth is quite obvious, actually. It is not due to a lack of intelligence that most cannot see it, but rather an unwillingness to endure the ridicule that comes with the adoption of unorthodox perspectives.
Most people would rather feel safe and comfortable.
Capitalism is a collective insanity that punishes people for having the nerve to exist on this planet.
When they claim ownership of the air itself and literally want you to pay a toll for breathing, I think that might be a sign that we’re overdue for a new paradigm.
If the US cannot live up to its ceasefire agreements because Israel is intent on violating them, then we can either sever our partnership with Israel or kill and die until Israel allows us to stop.
If we have any regard whatsoever for human life, the choice is obvious.
Isn’t it strange how the government can automatically register young people for the draft but can’t automatically register them to vote?
Man, that is so bizarre… I’d never want to doubt the intentions of our politicians, but aw geez… it kinda feels intentional somehow.
I question the wisdom of this mass media campaign by libs to mock Trump for the ceasefire.
Are you trying to taunt him into prolonging a war that you’ve been saying he shouldn’t be fighting in the first place? Would you prefer he bomb them off the map? What is the goal here exactly?
It’s not unexpected, yet disheartening to see so many blue voting types criticizing Trump’s handling of the war while failing to recognize that the Iranians are victims in this whole mess and not wicked people deserving of punishment (up to some unspecified line that Trump has crossed.)
“Resistance is fertile”
Thank you for that. I’m gonna share it with all the comrades.
Transformation is often a painful process, and there is a fire coming that will consume the old world.
Seek the unchanging peace at your center, and there you shall also find wisdom and courage.
With these tools we can overcome our fear and build the new world with love.
Isn’t it so unpredictable that red and blue voters alike have failed for decades to check American imperialism and both sides failed to draw the line at genocide in ‘24, and now we have a president that believes he can get away with wiping a civilization off the planet? How did this happen?
When voters on both sides of the aisle fail to draw a red line at genocide, perhaps we should not be surprised when the next president threatens death on an unprecedented scale.
Whatever is coming, we’ve had years of opportunity to prevent it. How many chances remain?
Explain to me how a handful of billionaires buying up and controlling all media so they can pump out blatant propaganda 24/7 isn’t every bit as sinister as direct censorship or government-controlled media.
They will only ramp up the efforts to manipulate public opinion as we enter the ground invasion stage of this atrocity. Don’t let them fool you.
We don’t need them, they need us. When we understand that and come together, they won’t get to make demands of us any longer. It will be the other way around.
This can’t possibly go wrong
Policy is never an accident. They could help you if they wanted to, but they don’t. They show you no loyalty; you owe them none in return.
Understand that the real war isn’t the US vs Iran. It’s the ruling class against the rest of the world.
They have declared war against us and everyone we care about. How shall we respond?
For those of us that would prefer to avoid a violent revolution, radical non-compliance is our best option.
We must collectively refuse the orders of the fascist administration, and we must not budge.
There is no “you” and “I.” 👁️
It’s a disingenuous concern in the first place. To debate the issue is to overlook the fact that they’re just trying to manufacture consent for their atrocities.
Israel wants a weakened Iran and doesn’t mind bloodying the American empire to get there. Meanwhile the MIC keeps the profit flowing.
Imagine debating the definitions of terms like “genocide” and “war crime” while children are dying.
Take a firm and unblinking stand against it or it’s not worth publishing.
One example among many of why risk aversion is not going to save us. I understand we’d all rather be comfortable than risk our lives for change. Problem is, while we are maintaining passivity, they’re murdering us a little bit at a time.
“Never forget,” we were told. It seems many have forgotten.
The joke is on them because you can’t pick up a superbug at the hospital if you can’t afford to get your cancer treated there in the first place.
If the Dems can plan and coordinate an operation of this magnitude and mobilize people in these numbers, they can make demands… They can gain real concessions to push back against fascism in a meaningful way.
The fact that they don’t ought to speak volumes.
If they can do it over there they can do it right here. When we fail to stand for others, we establish a precedent that shall soon enough reach ourselves.
I could list a million reasons why society needs a major overhaul, but I just saw a job listing in which the company requires a college degree for a position that pays $12/hr and I kinda feel like that’s reason enough for a revolution right there.
