The one downside of that is that by starting with it on a non-default freq, then any rando who gets a node is not going to contribute to your mesh. Which is one of the big benefits of metastatic. A bigger mesh means better network reliability and reach.

Most areas use the default LongFast with the default slot 20, which comes out to 906.875 MHz.
