I know that family dosent mean the ones you share blood with. Sometimes I’m haunted by things my family has told me in holidays past and I struggle to not let it rent space in my head.

Holidays bring forth difficult emotions and questions that will go unanswered from family members no longer around.

The abandonment, being told you weren’t wanted in your teens by your grandmother and how those words echo endlessly on holidays like today that we so heavily associate with family.

We can honestly thank alot of manufacturers for this because they really stepped up. (Out side of the US that is). Many of the suppliers I worked with in mainland and in Taiwan have made their facilities carbon negative running everything on renewables. We’re still not at 100% but there is hope.
