I don't generally use anything for this, but occasionally I'll bind things together a bit with small velcro ties.

Indeed. The block diagram scheme he uses goes all the way back to the original ARP 2600 manual from the 1970s. For the most part: sound sources and processing are horizontal connections, while control connections are vertical. A solid idea.

Damn, so close. 6hp, but very useful in many cases. Sounds good, too, for a passive.

You can do so much with S&H. I love spending time cooking up new uses for it.
I think I remember seeing some nice 1U noise sources in 4hp. Sands of Time maybe, but I've forgotten how big it is.
Lovely.
Gary is legit.
Yes.
Yes.
The user manual for the original ARP 2600 is still, after all these years, an excellent resource for anyone getting their feat wet in analog subtractive synthesis.
It's got great advice, too, like this gem:
A great little piece that walks you through some basic concepts in creating complex sequencing behavior with basic modular tools.
This is my main method of cooking up sequencers from scratch. There's a significant Tangerine Dream feel to the process and sound.

Reminded of this today.

I'm currently pairing the Cadence with a Pinhl 3x passive LPG and it's wonderful. I job it out to other duties when needed. It's great for voltage controlled ratchets and other EG tomfoolery.
Next up for the case is their Mezcal. Starting to really dig Nekyia.

Fredrick from Detroit-Berlin with a rundown of the Doepfer A-137-1. I've got the right and left from a Matriarch running through two of these for independent stereo VC over folding parameters.
It's delicious.

Well, I'm working on a similar project. We'll see.
