My take: It's Trump's effort to appeal to young men (with small you-know-whats) who love violence.

Russia took satellite images of a U.S. air base in Saudi Arabia three times in the days before Iran attacked the site and wounded American troops, according to a summary of Ukrainian intelligence shared with NBC News by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The celebration of bloody, brute force dovetails with Trump’s gleefully combative charisma and extreme ideological masculinity — a brawling, no-holds-barred approach to the highest office in the land.

One demonstrator carried a sign that said “Grab ’em by the midterms,” playing on the vulgar, caught-on-tape comment Trump made about women in 2005.
The crowd included Emily Gregory, a Democrat and first-time candidate who won an upset victory last week in a Florida state legislative race.

Donald Trump holds one earned degree: a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the U of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, which he received in 1968 after transferring from Fordham U. He has no master's or other graduate degrees, although he received several honorary degrees; most have been rescinded.
Glad to know who he is and that the CO GOP wants him as their leader! They make it so easy!
Mostly seniors—numbering a thousand or so—who remember Vietnam!
Trump wants to rule over us as a tyrant. But this is America, and power belongs to the people — not to wannabe kings or their billionaire cronies.”
A good summation: “Masked secret police terrorizing our communities. An illegal, catastrophic war putting us in danger and driving up our costs. Attacks on our freedom of speech, our civil rights, our freedom to vote. Costs pushing families to the brink."

Brazen, from Carr. “Look at the results so far. PBS, defunded. NPR, defunded. Joy Reid, gone from MSNBC. Sleepy-eyes Chuck Todd, gone. Jim Acosta, gone. John Dickerson, gone. Stephen Colbert is leaving. CBS is under new ownership, and soon enough, CNN” will be, too.

As goes his approval rating, behold Donald Trump's DJT stock price, an investment for MAGA suckers:

After he beat Hillary Clinton in 2016, he outlined his military policy: “We will stop racing to topple foreign regimes that we know nothing about, that we shouldn’t be involved with." Now he lusts for regime change.
Trump once thought war was a waste of time and lives and money; he dreamed of building hotels on the beaches of North Korea and Gaza.
It’s odd that Trump co-opted the bracing slogan about 9/11 given that on that day he observed that, with the twin towers coming down, one of his buildings, 40 Wall Street, became the tallest in Lower Manhattan.
“This was a test for NATO,” he said during the cabinet meeting, adding: “If you don’t do that, we’re going to remember. Just remember. Remember this in a number of months from now. Remember my statements. They have an expression, a great expression, ‘Never forget.’ We can never forget.”
Monday, Trump said that if Iran did not submit to him, “we’ll just keep bombing our little hearts out.” He was steaming that NATO was not bending to his will, and he was vowing that it would rue the day.
You can do anything.
At a cabinet meeting on Thursday, an amused Trump mused: “I think I may go to Venezuela and run for president against Delcy,” referring to Delcy Rodríguez, Maduro’s vice president who ascended with Trump’s approval.
“I do believe I’ll be having the honor of taking Cuba,” he said. “That’s a big honor. Taking Cuba in some form. Whether I free it, take it. I think I can do anything I want with it, you want to know the truth.”
He blows up suspected drug boats, snatched Nicolás Maduro out of his bedroom and salivates at the thought of pillaging Greenland and assailing Cuba.
Whether it’s a country, a skyline, the White House. He accosted the People’s House, bulldozing the East Wing and a Jackie Kennedy garden, before anyone could even look at the plans.
The House speaker called the “beautiful golden statue” of an eagle appropriate to “the new golden era in America.”
Trump thinks more than ever that he can have his way with whatever he wants in whatever way he wants.
His approach in his second term can best be described as manhandling, abetted by his cabinet of lackeys and congressional Republican bootlickers. Mike Johnson pathetically conjured an “America First Award” for Trump out of thin air.
