Not a lawyer. But this is exactly what keeps me going: the belief that the system can work, and that despite all his machinations, it mostly still is working. Some big things are going wrong, and there is long-term damage being done, but he hasn't been able to overturn everything yet.

That would be expensive. Under the Fifth Amendment, the government would have to pay the market price. Even before the coming IPO, the valuation based on the last private issuance was several hundred billion dollars.
That area had a 100-year event in 2015, when entire houses were lifted off their foundations and floated away.
Anyone else catch Trump slurring more than a few words?
I really want to write about how this won't happen, but I can't. I cannot fault Japan, SK, Poland, Germany, or almost any other US ally that relied on our nuclear umbrella for the last 30-75 years if they go down that path. And it will be even more reason for some in the US to call for isolationism.
They don't have the resources for it. They may be sketching out a future program, but it's a cost they can't bear right now.
This RatSec episode doesn't seem to appear in the Patreon ad-free feed. Can someone address that?
For those focusing on Russia, China, etc., as the nation states presumed to be on personal devices of US government officials, consider the number of countries that are NSO Group customers, some of whom may also have compromised these devices and may be passing on useful intel to US adversaries.

He may also be counting on a more friendly appellate structure in the state courts. All but one GA Supreme Court justice were first appointed by a Republican governor. (Most have survived at least one election since then.)
I continue to insist that he cancelled the strikes on Iran because there was no way at all that he didn't get blamed for it. His innate cowardice kept us out of another war but for purely selfish reasons. I fear he won't have the same restraint on domestic use of the military.
The story of why Elon Musk fired most of the election integrity team after saying he would expand it is stupider than I even imagined. The team's manager liked a tweet calling Elon a dipshit.
Can't you get 16-bit support in Win64 platforms by installing the NTVDM component? (I've only read this, never actually tried it, and not sure what it means for security.)
Locks are there to slow down those unwilling to make noise. That's most potential thieves/burglars, but it still leaves a decent number of threats.
I joke about it, but if you want to take my SANS ICS515 (incident response for ICS networks) course, my next co-teach is CDI in December in Washington DC.
