Nah, it was technically her primary, but it was a last minute Biden endorsement after he ran unopposed. The primary was for show and Biden dropping as late as he did made it very difficult for Harris to build an effective campaign. He screwed her over

Perhaps the incoming blue wave will be used to make the necessary reforms. I doubt the Dems will use their power to do so, but we’ll see.

I also think we would have benefitted from a democratic primary. Biden never should have ran. The fact that he did is an immense act of sabotage.

IMO, project 2025 would have been project 2029 even if Harris had won. I don’t think she would have done anything to stop it. Things would not be as bad if she were pres, yes, but they wouldn’t be getting better. They haven’t been for a long time. Republicans sold us out and Dems let them.

Having Cheney on stage was a symptom, not the cause. It proved Kamala was ideologically similar enough to Cheney that they both felt comfortable setting minor differences aside to cater to conservative voters. For those of us who know Cheney as a horrible person, this revealed a lot about Kamala.

Democratic Party tolerance looks like arresting college students for protesting genocide. It looks like campaigning for ICE and immigration enforcement and more ICE funding. It looks like co-opting the BLM movement and moving it away from ACAB and defund the police. But you aren’t able to admit that
