It’s getting so bad that if I notice AI on a site, I’m just assuming the whole well is poisoned.
There is so much AI generated images on Amazon/Etsy/etc that I’m suspicious of the whole site.
The internet was the best tool that helped people learn about the world outside their own world.
Sure there were liars, but you could source your info from many places to negate that.
But now there’s so much hallucinated AI content online, it’s almost impossible to educate yourself.
And the same with trying to find reference photos on the internet.
If you’re looking at animal photos created after AI blew up, most of the photos have anatomical innacuracies.
AI is just ruining the internet.
If I’m reading an article or blog written after 2023 there is a good chance it turns out it’s written by AI.
No one is editing out the AI hallucinations that appear in them. And since the people in charge aren’t even bothering to read them, they never get fixed.
