The certainly can recognise faces and patterns of behaviour. Best to feed them little bits of nuts. Half a nut cut into many small pieces works well & is heaps. Or another safe thing is insectivore raising mix. Especially if you can’t hold back on feeding them, which I get, cause Maggie friends!
