A single panel cartoon. Moominpapa leans over a newspaper on a table, holding an empty glass. Snufkin is seated on the opposite side of the table, head in hands, puffing on his pipe disconsolately.
Moomonpapa says to Snufkin: 'Tell us all that'a happening out in the world!'
Snufkin replies: 'Fuss and misery..'

There is already a problem with headlines of being disingenuous and biased.
Now they can literally defang and change any headline of any subject they choose. Anti AI titles, anti google, anti ICE, government criticisms etc. etc. all turned neutral.
I am hoping this ends in a class action.

"Artists peak at 30", "30 under 30", "by 30 you should" ridiculous. Arts industries capital craves young people to exploit and burn out. It doesn't want older artists thriving and guiding the young. It also doesn't want artists to exist. Stop letting cannibals tell you you only matter on a plate.

4th spread of The Nutcracker, illustrated by me, published by Walker Books, 2015.
Ink, watercolour, and gouache on Arches hot pressed paper.
Silhouette illustration with elements in colour. Seven swans fly amid the falling snow through the night sky over a river with a beautiful cityscape. The leading Swan, with a crown on its head, bears Clara and the Nutcracker Prince.
"You saved me," he said. "Not just from the Mouse King - from a terrible curse, too. Will you do me the honour of accompanying me to my home, the Land of Sweets?"
They travelled by swan over gold-flecked oceans & silver-edged cities. 4/

A repeating pattern in blues and muted purples featuring hand-drawn plants and flowers intertwined with a dark blue hummingbird
"Insomnia"
I drew plants I pass on my evening walks home from work, in my little neighborhood. I wanted something quiet and dark for this, because sometimes we're just quiet, and dark.

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.

Watercolour painting of a couple in an embrace surrounded by thistles.
Love amongst the thistles. Softness between the thorns. A wee little painting I recently did.

If this is accurate, WeTransfer is unusable for professional creative work. Would violate most work-for-hire contracts to share copyrighted material with a third party like this.

The best pony there ever was. And yes, Sam does wear a hat in the books.
`You are a wise beast, and have learned much in Rivendell. Make your ways to places where you can find grass, and so come in time to Elrond's house, or wherever you wish to go’
Bill the pony, everyone,
and of course Samwise Gamgee, his dearest friend.

illustration of a shirt that says "Solar Sucks, the dinosaurs sacrificed their lives so we could burn them for fuel." the illustration is of a smoggy polluted city scape with burning tires and oil refineries
I completely forgot about this shirt design I did several years ago for a solar panel company for their instillation people, I think? The AD had a very good sense of humor about them.

You got us to 250 in two weeks! Thank you all SO much! It would be wild, but... maybe you can help us gt to 300?! With more support we can start building toward a better more sustainable OJST and even some artist page rate increases!
Hey, a little bit of good news: Not only did we meet our minimum number of patron sign-ups to keep the site running for another year, but we're now approaching the reality of raising our page rates if this keeps up. Come join us! www.patreon.com/OhJoySexToy

It looks like a lot of fun. I am a big fan of Conan Exiles (even with all its jank) and it looks like took that game structure and really built on it well. My partner is playing dune at the moment and enjoying it. I will probably grab it this winter when life is a little slower 🤞🏻
