Had a solo Dev reach out to me about their indie game this morning.
The steam page looks interesting but what's this, they disclosed Ai use on the itch.io page but not on steam? Shame.
I love talking about indie games, but that's exactly why I'm not sure I can do it anymore.
It is also that it is the current version of the tech hype, crypto, NFTs and the metaverse are previous examples.
Also if you understand AI, you know GenAI doesn't learn, it copies and better models that do learn have narrow applications.
Current models overpromise their potential.

You can't but i know i constructed one before i realized. Just checked my own inventory for Valkyr since i got an extra from a drop and you don't get helmets from drops, so either that was changed or you built a second for some reason and helminth is my best bet.
If not a drop, maybe you crafted a second one to feed to the Helminth?
I just realized i am so disconnected from WoW that i now know abrely anything about what is happening. I saw the announcements of housing and more recently the race to world's first occasionally, but i could not tell you about locations, reception or story and honestly, nice.

Bsky has been more agressive in banning them recently i think, because the last couple of times it has happened, the account was gone before i could check it out.
Scams that target our emotions suck.
I don't think there's a lot to them, they're scammers who are using our sympathy to scam people. After the 3rd almost identical it becomes clear it is a scam and i don't think there's much thought in it, just bots that go around and do engagement.
Oh reading the replies, i thought the scam was much more common than it is i think. I have been followed, liked and reposted by these scam accounts occasionally since i joined Bsky. Someone is creating accounts named something like "help me in gaza".
What clearly came across as dismissal of your curiosity, was more personal opinion, but also meant as a probe because it sound like there might be something going on that i don't know about.

The other part being, my current understanding is that they're scams, so i very much doubt there's anything interesting with them. Good scams know their audience, and we're left leaning here, so of course they want to scam by giving the illusion we can help.

I have heard a lot of critique that DT has bad writing and i very much disagree, every character in the story i believe was well written. The problem i see is that the scions were put into the story even if they didn't fit.

There seems to be a discussion in FFXIV about lack of rewards.
To me the problem isn't the lack of rewards, it is a lack of rewards that show off WHAT you have done. Ultimate weapons obviously show, but relic weapons should show you have farmed. So my 2 cents is more rewards that show accoplisments
So 8.0 is basically soft confirmed to be VII inspired. Guessing that also means 7R3 will be announced at SGF or at the latest TGA.
Denshattack very much represents an era of gaming i hope we are returning to. I have tried the demo and it is utter nonsense, but it is fun and it has heart.
Games as fun rather than dreary gritty and/or realistic depictions of whatever is what i want more of.
