To fix this i had to make sure that anytime a enemy is damaged it had information about who attacked it and with what.
because i have sources for damage now i can do things such as level up a skill if you have damaged enemies with that specific skill

to unlock skills you acquire you have to complete a requirement such as killing a number of enemies.
A issue that i had is that no matter how a enemy died, even if it was killed off screen by something else in the world you would get credit for it.

Working on automatically placing debris in my level. For every ground object I spawn a few random items from a list and give it physics so it falls to the floor. after a few seconds I disable physics for performance. #screenshotsaturday #indiegame #horror #Unity

The game will be creepy but im not intentionally making it a scary game like Silent Hill or Resident Evil, that being said i love the sanity effects in Eternal Darkness and might try to break the 4th wall a bit.
