I would really love to know how Mike Flanagan feels about IT: Welcome to Derry since Dick Hallorann is featured in the series.

You can just tell when a Stranger Things fan didn’t watch Welcome to Derry.

If we ever get a Dick Hallorann spinoff, I think it should be a movie and it ends with him driving up to the Overlook Hotel for a job interview. I absolutely DO NOT want to explore the mysteries of the hotel.

It will never not be funny realizing that The Shawshank Redemption, one of the most iconic and memorable movies ever, is connected to a films such as Children Of The Corn 5 or Sometimes They Come Back…For More.

I hope IT: Welcome to Derry’s success warrants a Dick Hallorann series that is set after WTD and features Dick having confrontations with True Knot type cults and eventually his early days working at the Overlook Hotel, perhaps learning about The Dark Tower as well.

Dick Hallorann was able to survive a literal ancient transdimensional shapeshifting alien but couldn’t survive a crazed mortal man with an axe.

When you think about it, Ash Williams uses humor 24/7 to hide what he truly is inside, a sad broken man full of love longing to protect the people and possessions closest to his heart.

You don’t need Andy Barclay to bring back De Silva.

There is a way to bring back Mike Norris and Karen Barclay to the Chucky franchise without them having to battle Chucky once again.

Outside of Karen and Mike, the character I want to see return to the Chucky franchise most is Kristen De Silva.
