True on one level, but politics is also the art of what is possible. It would be possible to handle the blatant corruption of Hungary, one way or another if the result of the corruption hurts the core of the EU, which it now does..
May I suggest a new law that allows vetoing of blatantly criminal disruptions by member states. And to kick them out if there is a pattern of kowtowing to external interests.
And yes, I also read it as waiting for the elections. Also, the RU election interference in Hungary will be off the charts.
