I try to walk in their shoes
My community is being used by phobics to gain access to vulnerable members. Dangerous bigots are posing as LGBTQ on dating apps to lure people to their deaths. Please talk to your family and friends. Share with them the importance of protecting yourselves when meeting someone new.
A good reminder for some who will probably ignore the advice!
The sad fact of the matter is trans individuals are under attack from all sides. Even members of our own LGBTQ community hold so much hate that they’re driven to violence out of fear of being included in a group targeted by mainstream society. Everyone, please be so careful right now.
