There are now more than 200 million heat pumps installed around the world.

It is a mature technology but we need to see the number of heat pumps to triple to meet the climate scenarios.

I think in economics we are getting to an interesting place of (relative) epistemic humility about merhods #EconSky. Theory first reigned, then the credibility revolution arrived, and some took it to extremes. And now we are back to a more balanced approach of methodological pluralism. Thoughts?
