This was Pip as a puppy learning To just hang out and not chase my cat. My kitty was very friendly with her albeit too much. Puppy was overly excited about her for awhile. 😂

From yesterday, a hatchling Painted Turtle (Chrysemys picta), found in an open field hundreds of feet from a wetland. This tiny turtle overwintered in the nest, waiting for spring rains before emerging from the egg (note the white egg tooth). #herps #turtles 🌿

The fire ants have been so bad this week since we got some much needed rain. Everyday I go out and find new mounds-treat them with this rosemary wintergreen oil mix fire ant killer. They just keep popping up and fast. They already got one of my dogs. I am determined to not let them take over again.

Hiya 👋 good morning to you. She hruts from an eye ulcer compounded with her eye pressure. Tonight was new it was closed shut and jelly like inside..… was worried… but nothing ruptured… I just got home but the eye specialist is gonna look at it in the morning when they get a chance.

I never want to hear “Let that sink in” again. Or “I don’t know who needs to hear this” or “I’m gonna hold your hand when I say this” or “Let’s talk about it.” New clichés, please.
