I'm confused here, are you guys making the case for ICE because people lock their doors at night? Because if so, try again.

In other words, it's the only way that you can negotiate with a toddler.
This is savvy International diplomacy. Of course Rutte thanks Trump is a moron, and is a danger to the world. But, if you give him some candy, or say something nice to him, no matter how painful, you WILL be able to manipulate him. It's the only way you can deal with him.
Everything that comes from you must be taken with a grain of salt. Is this a legitimate well wish, or is this more grifting? You seem to not be telling the truth about your care for our immigrant population. Or, you're bending the knee. Actions, less words please.
Although I'm sure we'll see you in your suit costume with your skinny tie giving some sort of bleeding heart press conference where you pretend to care about this situation. You lied.
You've always been in over your head, Jacob. Your quest to have everyone love you has had the opposite effect. I've always appreciated your enthusiasm, but I've always been concerned about your out of touch approach to this city. It's time to step down and let somebody serious take over.
What's the morning school bus forecast for tomorrow in North Platte, NE? Should we bundle up the kiddos? Asking because I respect you as a weather forecaster and weatherman.
Not even close. But that makes it encouraging to see this sort of front page from an outlet that was so embarrassed to be part of "Minneapolis" that they changed their name to the "Minnesota" Strib to cater to insecure, MAGA greater Minnesotans.
Please resign and let somebody who is interested in serving serve instead.
Funny, because they both normalized Trump during the election.
I'm so glad you're here, Governor. But can you and your staff quit posting on Twitter? The comments on your posts there are horrific and I'm not sure you or your staff read them (at least I hope not, otherwise yikes).
Stop legitimizing Musk, and continue being the great fighter you are!
Things are getting real on my bird cam in the backyard. My mom got me this bird cam a couple years ago, and so far a house finch abandoned it and a downy woodpecker used it to sleep over the winter. Now my mom's favorite bird has taken over, to nest βΊοΈ.

How about you leave her alone?
I'm not quite sure what judges can do to protect themselves from this fascist takeover. But I do know about a bunch of Democrats in Washington DC that can grow a backbone and actually act, instead of posting on social media.
That doesn't seem to be a deal breaker for this administration. Follow the judge's orders, or what? What are they going to do?
This is a little bit more than a traipse I believe. I think this is going to go down as the first shot in the real, active war against democracy.
Ahh, that makes sense. KTTC isn't really representative of Rochester. It's a stopping point for non-local journalists who are trying to move up in the world, OR for journalists who just can't move up any further. Tom Overlie is like the Tom Brokaw of KTTC. I think he pronounces the town's name right
I guess. But it's a little embarrassing for you, wouldn't you admit? AI isn't going to do everything for you, and of course you need to edit what it does.
Just own it, brother. Sometimes when the masses come after you, you actually might be wrong.
This may be the most ratioed post of all time, per capita.
I grew up in Rochester and honestly don't know what you're talking about. Granted, I usually try to avoid Rochester these days because I enjoy entertainment π
We called it "Crotchville" when I was in high school in the early 2000s. The crotch of Minnesota.
Your statement about arresting the Milwaukee judge seemed boilerplate. What are you Democrats going to DO? I am a huge fan of yours, but the same old statements don't work in this extraordinary circumstance.
Please, shut down Congress.
Another unhelpful boilerplate statement from a congressperson about what may be one of the most consequential government acts in this country's history. We are on the precise trajectory to fall, as we have countless examples in history that follow this same formula.
SHUT DOWN CONGRESS.
Boilerplate responses to some of the most damaging acts in our country's history is not helpful. This response is just that.
This is not just another dumb thing that the Trump administration has done, this is now an active, ongoing assault on Democracy. We should act like it.
I guess I'd be a little bit more angry. This seems like a standard response to anything you would disagree with from the Trump administration. This particular act is so beyond the pale that it takes more than just "monitoring".
Arresting judges is already waaay far down the path to fascism.
"Dissatisfied with the 'not guilty' verdicts rendered by the Supreme Court (Reichsgericht) in the Reichstag Fire Trial, Hitler ordered the creation of the People's Court (Volksgerichtshof) in Berlin in 1934 to try treason and other important "political cases."

The advancement of this fascist timeline is so fast that I am legitimately scared. Are they going to come after our comments here? Should I be concerned now? Will Democrats ever do anything to stop this?
This AI creepy af. We got to stop this nonsense. Some people actually think these things are real, and we know how that's gone. Impressionable people being fooled is why we're here.
White men are the source of 99% of the world's problems.
I remember when I was 15, I believed in a whole bunch of bullshit. Hell, in college I was not even close to an adult. In law school I was probably closer to an adult, but still, I hadn't learned from experience yet.
Anyone criticizing Kat for views that she had as a kid is projecting, period.
