The filing deadline for primary candidates in Michigan is later today, and both Democrats and Republicans will be running candidates in all 148 legislative races.

So far this is the only state to have a contested general election in every legislative race this fall.

So @michigandems.bsky.social just sent an email condemning the booing. I mean, LOL. The MAJORITY of the room booed.

Being mad at the act and not the reason behind it is truly myopic behavior from Curtis Hertel Jr. and Haley Stevens supporters.

There's a rumor going around that soon we'll learn that a Democratic US Senator has known that his wife has been in a relationship with another man for over a year.

So, best of luck to the fine people of Pennsylvania—allegedly.

"If the thousands of us on the floor were truly driven to purge Jewish voices, how do the critics explain the overwhelming, enthusiastic endorsement of Eli Savit for Attorney General? Savit, a progressive Jewish prosecutor, was the clear choice of the same “radical” base being smeared in the press."

Reuters: "Israeli strikes kill five in Gaza. The deaths were the latest violence to overshadow the U.S.-brokered ceasefire deal."

Life is treacherous for the thousands of displaced Gazans.

Please give to my friend Tasneem. No amount is too small. And give to others. 🙏

Dana Fash forgets to give the "context" that Netanyahu has an ICC warrant, but also I would love for somebody to give a consistent moral argument as to why Hamas is worse than the IDF. The only argument for this is if you inherently believe state actors are morally superior to nonstate actors.

Palestinian children in the West Bank were prevented from going to school by Israeli security forces who closed a road in the middle of the night and set up razor wire.

The children tried to cross through the razor wire and were reportedly tear-gassed.
