HE'S SUCH A DAD I LOVE IT @yayforzig.bsky.social out here keeping me subscribed to Marvel Unlimited like Atlas holding the Earth
Yeah let people post their insane takes like this. My walk to the gas station isn't the same without the guy who says my ponytail is repressing my sexual potential and the internet should be the same way
It might be more accurate to say "It's so spot-on that it sucks for me personally to watch right now."
That's completely fair! I'm only up to the end of S3 so I don't know how it goes beyond that, but I think my main point of cynicism was that it didn't feel like Butcher's worldview was being pushed back against enough. But it's very much a subjective thing and I agree it's a spot-on satire.
I find Boys a -little- cynical, but I vastly appreciate how much it distills the best elements of the comic. Invincible's aces, though. I like how well it balances its darker and more idealistic tones.
Oh maaaaan this is SO good. @yayforzig.bsky.social you are my absolute hero for giving us Tasky and Finesse together at last!
Imagine having more wealth than you could spend in infinite lifetimes and still being the exact same dweeb you were when you were 17 and you wrote your shitty manifesto because you got ignored in high school
The stunted growth of this man should be studied but I wouldn't put that on any scientist
No waste at all, it was hilarious! Also thanks so much to you and the artist for putting Tasky in the background, I love Where's Waldo'ing my favorite guy.
I'VE FILLED MY 9MM CARTRIDGES WITH PEZ, BATMAN. GOTHAM IS MINE.
"Can't copy what you can't see, dorks!"
Yoo I played the demo for that during Steam NextFest and wishlisted it immediately to grab when my friends and I are done with Abyssus. Glad to hear it's holding up!
Grok: (String of expletives and slurs)
Honestly, I agree, while it can be fun to sometime get glimpses into a character's head, I often enjoy having to filter their dialogue through their biases, flaws, etc.
That said, I've noticed there's a problem in the fandom at times where people take dialogue as fact instead, which is...a problem.
luv 2 see my faves treated as actual human beings with connections and meaningful relationships
art isn't dead
"please bro I just need you to throw one more marginalized community under the bus, we'll get the votes we need to beat that big bad trump. bro please, just one more minority tossed aside to pursue republican-lite voters. please!"
me when black ant says he pirated another wrestling pay-per-view
Also, as someone into both Kamala and Tasky, are you familiar with that Avengers cartoon where they teamed up? There was a fantastic episode where Taskmaster and Vision were kind of the devil/angel on Kamala's shoulder.
An awesome list, even outside of my enormous Taskmaster bias. Your Spider-Punk was so fun. I bet you'd absolutely rock a Thunderbolts book, especially one in the vein of Rosenberg's awesome King in Black tie-in a bit back.
Also poor Miles, is beating him up just becoming some sort of Masters family tradition
Oh my god it's happening
I am being entirely serious when I say this might singlehandedly make you my favorite comic creator of all time. I've been waiting for these two to reunite since Avengers Academy.
Like father, like daughter.
THE MAN AND HIS DAUGHTER! My god what I wouldn't do for these two to run into each other again in the comics.
Can't wait to read it!
Yoo! Is this from the Miles Infinity comic?
Ayy love to see my boy Blue Marvel, he doesn't get enough appearances.
lmao happy BHM
