I’m anticipating (based on last year’s convos with staff) for the new Title 20 to have very low or no parking minimums (possibly maximums in some places), as well as shared parking agreements. I would hope a change to parking abundance will change trip gen & force changes to how TIFs are calculated.

No worries - I’ve seen some of your reporting and I didn’t take this as picking on Vancouver. More felt like “lol give us a chance to clean up our act 🙈”

I haven’t heard specifically about changes to TIF, so I assume they’re sticking around, but I hope they’ll be calculated in a less absurd way.

As a Vancouver resident, yeah, Title 20 is dreadful. We know. Staff know. If it makes you feel any better, Title 20 is actively in the shredder to be rewritten for our comp plan update. Draft code should be available within the next few months for comments IIRC. Any Qs, let me know.
