Its always fun to have monsters on screen and Kurt Russell is great, but the sound track is really annoying, the script is pretty rough, the family drama tedious and the cgi is a bit below par at times. 5/10.

Taking the first 3 episodes into account, its quite good in its own way, it isnt a comedy, its like a single page from a GOT book, it has a class element to it, the script is not as sharp as GOT, the characters softer, id give it a 7/10 so far.
