*No other* party logo displayed.

In local election purdah.

This is not normal. At all.

14 entries - first 7 and Great Tit are very common. Song Thrush is big in a patch of woodland a mile away. Blackcap and Chaffinch still not seen. The Siskin match doesn't sound like the references, nor do the several Marsh Tit matches.

14 entries - all regular suggestions. Was thinking about setting up a bird feeder to maybe get eyes on those I've not seen - however the RSPB advises against until November due to risk of spreading trichomonosis.

1 yr ago I wrote a massive thread on @iea.org huge AI / energy report.

WELL it's one year later and they've released an update, but notably, there is no chatbot. Well....I'm going to read it anyway, and you're all going to get spammed with notes :)

that's means a NEW ULTRATHREAD 🧵

When Angela Rayner underpaid £40,000 in stamp duty, Richard Tice said it was "morally completely indefensible” and she should resign if she had “any moral decency”.

Now we learn he set up four shell companies that let him avoid paying £100,000 he owed in tax and to then transfer the cash to Reform

Tice ‘happy to put things right’ after ‘he failed to pay £100k in corporation tax’ Mr Tice said last year Angela Rayner would resign if she had “any moral decency” after admitting to underpaying stamp duty

Richard Tice deputy leader of Reform ran four shell companies which did not pay any tax on profits between 2020 and 2022.

He's now offering to "put things right".

Go on then Richard - resign.

#TenMinMerlin 19th April 2026, Westfield England, GB, 6am - oops, 44 minutes!

20 entries due to distraction 🤠
Marsh Tit and Warbler surely mis-identifications. Warbler hits could be Blackbird? I haven't physically seen a Siskin, Chaffinch, Goldfinch or Goldcrest in the area (doesn't mean much).

Concerns Mandelson failed M16 vetting for US ambassador – but was appointed anyway The prime minister is facing serious questions after claims he ignored warnings from the security services to appoint Peter Mandelson as US ambassador

The news that Mandelson failed security service vetting is NOT NEW.

The story broke 7 MONTHS AGO. See story below.

Keir Starmer and No.10 claim they only found out this week. But the Independent told No.10 that it had two sources confirming he failed vetting - in September 2025.

A web of deceit.

Given that the whole thing is built on the theft of other people's work, it seems quite apposite, really.

12 entries. The Blackbird woke me up at 5:30, singing alone but loudly!
The last three suggestions are probably mis-identifications; a couple of hits only for each, whereas all the rest occur continuously through the ten minutes.

"a skeleton crew of full time production staff remaining in place to coordinate the hiring of resources on a per-project basis."

So only HR. I guess the MBAs think contractors are cheaper than permanent staff. Very short-sighted.

It's a good night to read this excellent piece, on the Orban regime's network of financial support for the nationalist right in Britain.

For many on the radical right, the tills are about to stop ringing.
