Also curious how many poetry shows reviewers go and see? There are brilliant, beautiful performers who are making some stunning stuff and they never get a fraction of the traction they deserve. Are poetry shows unreviewable? Seen as elitist? I don't think they are but I've got a pretty clear bias 😅
So I am chatting with some show makers about getting reviewers in to see your shows. Reviews feel like gold dust as a solo performer and I'm wondering if anyone in my network writes reviews and would share how they decided what they are going to shout about? Killer Press Release? Sexy Poster? TIA x
