I feel uneasy when morality is used to justify regime change, because it echoes the same reasoning once used to “civilize” the world. Claims “we’re doing this for your own good” resembles the same patterns of racism and imperialism that were used in the past to dominate others.

It’s interesting how the Security Council endorsed a peace plan, granting its governing body and an intervening force, legal authority - without knowing any of the details or parameters of the plan. And at the same time denying the Palestinian People involvement in their self determination.
