That's a really interesting way to look at the 2nd Amendment! I haven't heard that perspective before. It's a very "the spirit over the letter" way of interpreting the 2A, and I think it makes a lot of sense, considering the Founding Fathers couldn't have anticipated the tech we have now.

How is one guy with 100 guns as effective against a tyrant as 100 guys with no guns? All you have to do is take out the one guy and those 100 guns are rather useless. But the 100 guys without guns can use any number of things, or their wits, or their numbers, against the tyrant.
Well, if that's true, then that's very noble of you to be comfortable with dying for your coworkers or clients. I can't honestly say I know what I'd do in a situation like that, as I've never been in a violent confrontation with a stranger.
What if they make a "mistake" and your file gets mixed up with that of someone else who ICE are actively hunting? What if that mistake sends them to your house instead of their target, and they kick down your door? It really could happen to anyone.

You know ICE is being instructed by the Trump Administration to ignore the 4th Amendment, right? The one that requires police to obtain a warrant to search your home?
They're told to ignore the 4th & kick down your doors anyway. You could be shot at home. Your family, your pets. Citizens or not.

I ask because, recently, for the first time in my life, I considered buying a gun for this exact reason: because I'm terrified of ICE. But then I asked myself the questions I just asked you.
It doesn't seem like a gun will help whatsoever.
