Prior to today’s game against the Chicago Cubs, the Phillies recalled right-handed pitcher Nolan Hoffman from triple-A Lehigh Valley. To make room on the 26-man roster, right-handed pitcher Alan Rangel was optioned to Lehigh Valley following last night’s game. Additionally, right-handed pitcher Taijuan Walker was released.

The Springfield Cardinals are changing the name of their ballpark from Hammons Field to Route 66 Stadium, starting 5/5. A collaboration between the team & multiple community partners.
