If you read my previous posts, I also provided *several* examples of users that follow 10x the amount of pages that I do. I am hardly the most egregious example, and virtually everyone follows more users than they have followers—yourself included. There is simply no justification for the flag.
It wasn’t “40k at once,” and I was posting daily writing excerpts and photos of my cats before this happened.
This is an IT issue that @bsky.app needs to resolve, instead of punishing users for using the platform as intended, then providing zero assistance from @support.bsky.team to fix it.

Basically, my whole profile looks like this now. It makes it MUCH harder to navigate the content that I have up. What’s worse, I just saw my editor, and was *literally* about to start querying for this book. It’s ridiculous.
Yeah, I’ve been emailing Moderation all week, and I finally opened a ticket with @support.bsky.team, so we’ll see if that leads to it getting removed.
Exactly! I normally post a piece of writing, a pic or two of my cats, and a few reblogs to celebrate other writers’ publishing wins—but that’s a mere handful compared to how much other users post. Even “mass-following” makes no sense, because anyone would only get one single notification from me.
Right?? This isn’t an issue on ANY other platform, and it’s pretty obvious whether an account is spam or a real person. Plus, I even showed them a user with over 350k follows, and they won’t flag them, remove my flag, or define how much to lower my follow count. It’s crazy!
