GitHub appears to have opted anyone using the CLI into sending telemetry they will use to inform product decisions. This is sneaky and should have been an opt-in decision, not opt-out.
Disable it with `gh config set telemetry disabled`.

One thing I was about to miss, use Codex to fix/re-build/improve my Obsidian vault for both Desktop and Mobile. Wow why I didn't think about it before.

So after one month of posting on Linkedin, at work I've been selected among other 300 people to be a creator and to be paid for that. I'm immensely grateful for this opportunity, I always liked sharing and engage with other people and now my employer pays me for that. ✨

So now thanks to the AI engineers use TDD because small, incremental steps prevent their agents to make more mistakes.
What an irony, right?
Back in Palermo 🇮🇹 for a week.
God, I have missed all the food from here 🥲

I just read on LinkedIn another CTO claiming how he cares about its employees lives, forcing them to come to the office 3 days per week 🫢
Conducting some troubleshooting with DataDog and GitHub MCPs is a crazy experience. The quantity of dots an agent can connect is out of the world 🤯
This just to say that writing code never been the point. 👀

In my previous company they wanted to build a feature for a temporary onboarding, the deadline was strict and requirements unclear for what will have happened next. I convinced the PM to use an already working product we were already using, we solved the problem without writing a single loc.
I read another great article from @boristane.bsky.social: boristane.com/blog/how-i-u... 🤩
I've always used the research first approach, since I like to be always in the driver sit 🫡 but I never thought having the plan written somewhere and work on it as a running document 📝

I wonder what other kind of improvements I can add to my site 🤔
Like using Blue Sky as a command to add entries in the different section of my blog.
I will think about it in the following days 🤖
I implemented a Blue Sky sync with my blog note's section, every day at midnight a github action runs a script and it takes all new posts from my Blue Sky account and it adds them up into my notes page.
God, I love being a software engineer. 🤖

I bridged my account to have my posts also in the fediverse 💅🏻
So I discovered that I can't add a GitHub App to a CODEOWNERS file nor a team, which it means that despite my app can approve a PR, it can't bypass the CODEOWNERS check and merge the PR automatically.

Nice, how much do you pay for it? I see that if you don't have much traffic is free, on my blog I'm just using open street maps but I was thinking about using something prettier 😬
In my career I’ve seen too many never-ending meetings, unrealistic expectations, and "just add more people" decisions. ❌
This time I decided to talk about something we all face as software engineers, but rarely discuss properly: negotiating with the business 😬

I recently wrote a new blog post about my favorite team ceremony: ✨The Retrospective ✨
I often see teams underestimating how powerful this activity can be for them,
so I decided to write a playbook of ideas that will improve the way you run it. ⚡️
