Last week, the IRS and National Religious Broadcasters, along with two churches in Texas, urged a federal court judge to approve a legal settlement in a case on nonprofit nonpartisanship. The agreement would declare the Johnson Amendment unconstitutional and bar enforcement against the two churches.
