There were a few Switch 1 games that were sub-$60 USD...
- Metroid Prime Remastered
- Mario vs. Donkey Kong (remake)
- Rhythm Heaven Groove
...are the ones that come to mind that aren't just collections of old games.
You can adventure on your own in Splatoon Raiders, but you can also bring up to three other players in on the action, near or far. Don't worry about balance or difficulty—whether you team up with friends or go solo, it all evens out!
Splatoon is also one of Ninendo's marquee franchises, so this is about as low as we can reasonably expect.
$60 physical isn't that bad, though.
I don't disagree, though you could make an argument that NoA/NoE are fumbling Splatoon's marketing in their regions.
Hence "not TPC" (as in, The Pokémon Company).
To play Devil's Advocate, Splatoon is hard-carried by Japan. But yeah, it's outsold Metroid & Pikmin several times over.
$60 USD Digital/$70 USD Physical will likely be the common price for most Nintendo games going forward, with the likes of 3D Mario/Smash 6/Open-Air 3D Zelda probably being $70/$80.
Splatoon is no more niche in the West than DK or Kirby, & it's seen by Nintendo as one of their core pillar IPs.
Splatoon Raiders release date
Splatoon Raiders supports up to three other players online or via local wireless, other details released nintendoeverything.com/nintendo-announces-splat...
It's an in-house Nintendo game (I.E. not TPC), so I was never really worried.

This means that the physical version is $60, which is actually pretty reasonable. Guess Nintendo wasn’t lying about not actually increasing the physical price, they just brought down digital.

To celebrate our 60fps upgrade of Yooka-Replaylee on Switch 2, we're giving away an alternate cover copy of the game to two lucky winners!

To get even more specific, he was specifically one of the main game designers behind World Tour (SF6’s big single-player mode).
These boys didn’t come to play, can’t wait.
I needed to do it! 😆
Manana and Mahlos together!
#Pragmata #Xenoblade
Congrats!
I think Insomniac has one planned, otherwise they wouldn't have locked down the full video game rights to the X-Men until 2035.
Is anyone else's search function not working or is it just me?
Probably because not many knew of the origin. So like you said, it's probably just an unfortunate coincidence.
Game, probably UMvC3
Character, I’m between Kim, Elena, Dudley, & Nero
Still not a fan of who they cast for Dan, so......eh.
Today’s Black Video Game Character: Tashia (Duppy Detective Tashia)
Reze from #ChainsawMan is even MORE scary than you THINK!
Given how far into 2025 it looks to be, it's mostly just the cost of producing Switch 2s. I'd imagine that the tariff & AI bubble hit would come later.
