I very nearly bought this pattern wallpaper yesterday. Might have to go have a swizz see if it's still available. π€

I left my home near Clitheroe to look for work and I'm so homesick. I was looking for a job and then I found a job and, heavens knows, I miss Ribble now.
Such a dim view of me
They are beautiful and captivating when they are still.
So cool! I had to look this up to learn more:
I took no offence, just sad this is viewed as anything other than a bit of elective whimsy. My life is currently pretty dismal and I like seeing silly, unnecessary, jolly things and sharing them so they may make others smile in the same way they do me. I'm not sure legislation adds anything to this.
If so, then I'll take joy in this magnificent beastie being approved by a highly regulated and manipulative/manipulated committee of the elite wealthy.
I hope you find something in your life that brings you enjoyment.
And the point about not killing people's enjoyment of things still stands.
I have lived in villages with thatches for nearly 40 years and friends have had houses rethatched. Again, you are incorrect, certainly in my neck of the woods.
Do it!
Roof motif committee? π do they eck as like! It's hard enough to get people to step up to actual parish work that needs doing. And yes thatch is expensive. One person having fun within their space and budget doesn't mean someone else can't in theirs in a different way. Don't shit on joy.
I take back the flashy bastard comment and applaud the attention seeking part for the utterly righteous cause.
Pretty sure that would keep vermin at bay
That required an immediate google

Hush your mouth Alex you might as well publish my address
Obviously it's better.
1/ dinosaur
2/ significantly less attention seeking a flashy bustard that having a mahoosive shark sticking out of your roof
3/ it's a fucking dinosaur
I do, it's still there I think, though not been past in a while.
A thatched roof with 2 chimney pots. Atop the roof, instead of the usual duck or pheasant made of thatch, there stands a majestic T-rex
Went for a walk and a pint and spotted the best example of free will I've ever seen

Google maps directions towards my date are about as subtle as my outfit
100% reasonable and to be expected.

That thing where you're in your back garden and you hear your neighbour fart the Fart of someone thinking they're by themselves and at the exact same time your cat does something unexpected so you loudly go ' oh come Γ³n!?'.
That thing?
Nobody plans to get divorced, do they and it's a tough road. Safe travels. X
I hope you get to that place at some point. It's not easy.
Hi, hello.
As a *twice* divorced woman in her 40s I know women don't look at me with pity; they look at me with admiration for handling life.
Their husbands look at me with a bit of fear just in case their wives want to leave to start that commune we've joked about for years.
