Great to see Martin Galway has recently shared his C64 music driver and data for Wizball. For those that don't already know, Martin started his computer music career on the BBC Micro whilst at high school. His first version of YMO's Rydeen was composed on a Beeb!

Article is from last year. It is already worse than laid out in it.
three sparkys -- one says I'm from 2026, it's an endless hellscape of pain and madness
panel from 2020, from a cartoon about time traveling Sparky(s)
A Smurf inside stands beside what I believe is a fireplace. He's got a laddle in one hand and is holding his bare blue stomach with the other. Circular lines and buggles hover around his head. He looks nauses and says, "Oh wow! I don't feelso good!"
More fun than not having it. Sorry about the toothache.
4-panel comic. (1) [Two people standing next to house with solar panels on roof. Person 2 has a black hat.] PERSON 1: Wait, you got solar panels? I thought you were against renewables. (2) PERSON 2: Oh, definitely. I hate the environment and want to harm it as much as possible. I’d *love* to have an oil furnace. (3) PERSON 2: But the technology just isn’t there and the cost is too high. I despise solar, but it makes more financial sense in my situation. (4) PERSON 2: But with the money I’m saving, I can buy and burn industrial waste in my yard to try to make up for it. PERSON 1: Ah, yeah, carbon onsets.

This is how I learned I was a hallucinating Petri dish of brain cells. Checks out.
It is the worst
For Sale: Trump Shoes. Worn.
[Exit Murderer.]
Going through old photos and this surfaced. A useful reminder that the games industry ‘good old days’ were a mixed bag, same as it ever was.
Ah yes that classic moment in game development as you near shipping that you have less people on the project and just a mere skeleton crew getting it over the finish line while others cheer from the sideline.
Yep, that’s exactly how it works! Crack reporting!

Just watched @stepickford.bsky.social 's interview at Crash last year, and reminded just how brutal, and frankly shit, the games business was during the 90's and 00's.
Predatory publishers forcing devs to go bust so they don't need to pay their final milestones. I had the same with THQ.
Dog with comic book. In obligatory proof of delivery post.
@tomtomorrow.bsky.social my dog has received a copy of your excellent book.
Dear John, you spoiled little privileged bitch, people left because they have a set of ethics and believe in human rights, not platforming hate and making claims like there are only two races, whites and everyone else… plus posting work on twitter gives it to Xai to do with as it pleases
Fuck you
ah, time to take a big sip of coffee and check the morning news, as is my daily tradition
Failed to persuade my mother-in-law that Hellraiser is a Christmas movie. They watched the horror movie Love Actually instead.
Kung Fu Panda was on the 360 Christmas hardware bundle! I still have that box.
Pundit floor exercises to reduce accidental voter leakage.
Oh no, is that an AI recruiter?
And the experience is better for it. I hadn’t realized how much of their feature adds detracted from usability.
There are two wolves beside me. One is hassling for a bit of my sandwich, the other has let out the rankest of farts.
Your cartoons capture the historical moment better than anything else. The efficiency with which you do this is always amazing.
My wife had a Scott Bessent interview on CNN up on the TV. I sure hope @colbertlateshow.bsky.social introduces a ventriloquist dummy of him. Leaning backwards.
Or maybe we should provide a universal basic income for ALL humans, no exceptions, no means tests (just take it back from the billionaires at income tax time).
Humans shouldn't need to work to live.
We are not work machines!
In video games many bugs are filed with a suggestion of how to fix them. Those suggestions are never really right, but indicate a problem that should be addressed. QA pros just describe what went wrong. Execs aren’t QA pros. Be kind.
