Some real progress by Raptors. Pledged to play harder and they did. Force 8 Cavs TO and ended up with 11 FB points. But Mitchell, Harden and Mobley are 18/28 for 43pts. Ingram is 0/6 and hasn't got to line. Raps shooting 40.9% RJ w 10, Barnes w 9, CMB and Sandro w 8 each.

Raptors' defence must step up after Game 1 letdown After finishing the season with the fifth-ranked defence in the NBA, the Raptors had major problems slowing down the Cavaliers in Game 1. They must search for answers at that end of the court if they ...

Barnes, Barrett and Shead a combined 8/10 from three but Raps trailing 61-54, which is a concerning combo. Cavs packing paint and slowing game (Raps w 1 FB pt) and even with 8/15 from 3 Raps trail. Harden/Mitchell w 28 &10. Four Raps starters in double figures, Jak 0pts.

How a driven Ja'Kobe Walter earned crucial role with Raptors For Ja'Kobe Walter, the ability to 'figure it out' was baked in. Michael Grange has the story on how the second-year wing earned a crucial role on the playoff-bound Raptors.

“His ability to take coaching is very old school .. whatever you tell him to do, it’s, ‘I’m on it.’” -- Ja'Kobe Walter has 'figured it out' and in his 2nd season has earned minutes the Raptors desperately needed filled -- www.sportsnet.ca/nba/article/...

😂😂 … he’s not good enough to get his coach fired. Chet would look pretty good on that team.

He’ll be in management, I predict. And they actually changed to 6 pm starts to avoid conflicting with Masters (for the most part). 7pm makes more sense.

Celtics sit starters and their bench beats Magic starters anyway, lol. Win pushes Raptors ahead of Hawks for 5th seed in the East. Toronto will be playing 4th seeded Cleveland. Schedule TBA.
