I just love the art style so much 😍 it's such a treat to look at. I'm also doing the same thing with TSHD but it's also very slow going. Maybe I'll have to find an actual manga library here to sit down and read them... I'm about to be done with classes for the term so that could be my summer :)
I really need to finish/catch up reading the manga! I've been so happy with the anime so far, it's soooo pretty. I was very slowly reading the manga trying to get each book in print one at a time, but that's a lot harder where I have moved. So online it is, perhaps! 💙

...more difficult (in my opinion) to find those moments in a scene/concept that is just based on wanting to argue against/spite someone. maybe one day I'll see a bad enough take, but it hasn't happened yet even though i have seen... *abysmal* fucking takes.

All that to say, I totally understand why people spite-write, but I don't think that that fuels me creatively. Joy is what gets me through the often solitary process of writing. I want to see the words on the page and smile/laugh to myself. You can do that in spite writing but it's a little...
I've never written a fic out of spite, and I probably won't. I sometimes write fics out of a desire to fill a void? To explore a writing idea that other people have not posted/or I can't find it. But I've just never really been motivated by spite in writing (I am VERY motivated by spite irl lmao).
