It's been an interesting couple months since I last opened this app. How is everyone doing? Things are going ok over here! Watched season 2 of one piece live action, started earthbound for the first time at the start of March, and started a new DND campaign with my friend group to name a few events!

I have the next 5 days off from work, going to use my time as productively as I can. I've been feeling swamped lately with all of my side projects and hobbies so I hope I can make a big dent and make things easier for myself going forward!

My neighbor is so sweet whenever she has excess food or sweets from her family functions she offers them to us. This time though, half of a humongous cake, was a lot. Definitely going to my wife work to share with coworkers lol

It's all the small things that are getting to me. Seeing shadows out the corner of my eyes, it used to be my cat lurking around, now it's just wishful thinking. No more pounding on the door asking to come into the stream room, no more loud meows for attention. This is going to be so rough

It wasn't long ago that we put our dog Rocky down, but this morning our cat Layla will be joining him. She had an upswing in health last week but that was short lived, her conditions worsened, and we couldn't let her either away hoping for another upswing. She is no longer in pain ❤️

Received a card in the mail from our veterinary office today, wishing us well and offering sympathy regarding our dog Rocky. It was very sweet of them to send, reading their heartfelt messages made me cry, but I'm alright. He was the best dog ever, and always will be

Amidst all the chaos surrounding our cat and her recent medical issues, our dog was suffering his own. His condition nosedived last night, and now has crossed over the rainbow bridge. It was the hardest decision I've ever had to make, but it was the right one for his care and comfort. I'm devastated
