Thanks for reminding me of Sagan. I used to watch him as a child, doing his best to bring understanding to everyone. He's right, people in power are keen to avoid people's ability to think and challenge. In particular, IMO, religious hierarchy and those who use religion to bolster their position.

My hope is that all these effective analysts and communicators are coalescing into a growing network of resistance to the infiltration of far-right lies and propaganda. This seems to have been happening organically but we need to help it become more and more visible and pushed into mainstream media.
