For four consecutive day and night, protesters have filled streets across Georgia, including outside Tbilisi’s parliament. Despite crackdowns and arrests, they demand new elections and the restoration of Georgia’s European path, taken by a self-proclaimed pro-Russian regime. Video Tabula Media
Georgia, you are inspiring! 💪🏼🇬🇪🇪🇺
This is what it looks like to value freedom and democracy.

Justice died this past July when the Supreme Court crowned Trump king. But even though we knew today would come, it still hurts. Let’s try to be a little kinder to one another.
Today, November 25th 2024 is the day we officially learned that justice in America, in fact, does NOT matter. #sad

What are some accessible Infosec & Opsec resources that activists, journalists, and organizers can turn to in preparation for the Trump admin?
Preparing for a fascist regime can feel scary and paralyzing. This seems like an area where people can take control w/ concrete steps.

How many #wildBees supporters do we have in this beautiful Bluesky?
And how many would like to show their support with one of our Xmas tree ornaments or for your family & friends?
They will be personalized!
I think western leaders seriously underestimate the sacrifices western populations are willing to make to support Ukraine. Many I speak with in Sweden state they even feel like some sacrifice to absorb part of the emotional burden.
I'm seeing more MAGA trolls pop up on here now
For new ppl here is how we deal with them in the Sky:
1. DO NOT ENGAGE
2. BLOCK
3. REPORT
If you engage with them, with this algorithm, they are like roaches & we will get more
So Block & move on. If u want to fuck with them, there's always twitter
NYPost screenshot of article with headline “Feds blew $267M fighting ‘misinformation’ under Biden — as Trump vows to ban ‘censorship cartel’ A Fox News clip about the COVID lab leak theory is embedded. The lede of the article is “WASHINGTON — President Biden’s administration used $267 million of your money to study “misinformation” since he took office, a new report reveals — as President-elect Donald Trump vows to purge the term from the federal lexicon and make sweeping spending cuts.”
NYPost cover of an angry picture of President Biden wagging his finger in front of an American flag. Headline is “censor in chief” and subhed is “Biden admin gave researchers $267 MILLION to go after ‘misinformation’ – some of which was true!”
NYPost continues conflating academic research on disinformation with “government censorship.” (It also bears repeating that government activity on disinformation =/= censorship)
That this continues to be a drumbeat for conservative media and the Trump transition is extremely concerning.
UMass/Amherst (left) and Wesleyan University are both warning their international students to be on American soil before noon on Jan 20 -- Inauguration Day.
Thanks so much! I'm checking obsessively despite knowing there's typically quite a lengthy queue. Just cannot help myself.
This is a recipe for disaster
Manhattan prosecutors said they will oppose a request by Donald Trump’s lawyers to dismiss his 34-count felony conviction but suggested they were open to postponing proceedings in the case until after the president-elect’s second term in the White House.
the chinese vessel Ying Feng 3 which probably severed the data cable yesterday indeed had a peculiar navigation patters. Slowed down till reached the area, stayed on the spot letting itself drift in the wind, then moved away full steam. Now being chased by a Danish navy patrol vessel

It appears that last year China may have seen destroying undersea structures as a case of credit, not blame.
Note that cables have been protected for a wee bit of time: Since the 1884 International Convention for Protection of Submarine Cables Provisions. Yes *18*84.
In the 2015 Paris Agreement, most countries agreed to try hard to limit global warming to below 1.5 degrees Celsius. Delay and inaction mean that goal is becoming harder to achieve by the day.

Would love something incorporating Portugal, sunflowers, and extra bonus points for a fellah wing surfing (like en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wing_fo... but on the surface of the water, not on a mast above the water.) Thanks for all you do!

One public opinion I can get behind of. EU benefits are clear
I would like to speak up today for the trans community.
You see, I know a bit of what it’s like to be politically scapegoated. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941, suddenly anyone in America who had any amount of Japanese ancestry became suspect. Politicians preyed upon ignorance and fear. /1
Thanks for that. If the graphics are to be believed, that's "US, France, Britain, and Portugal"🇵🇹
