It does bring a lot of joy to people - all those MPs getting donations from the industry!

Had a discussion with someone at work about this (UK). They said it wasn't every variety of animal, but a sort of base model.
"So after..they evolved?"
"No, not evolved...developed into other types"!
TBF if you believe in a god, I see no reason to not believe all this stuff.

I really think we’ll see more SNP lost constituencies due to tactical voting. A lot of them are very close. Hopefully I’m wrong!

Also there there will probably be a lot of tactical voting, either to stop the SNP, or stop Reform getting a seat. Really hard to predict what effect that will have in close seats, there’s a lot of those.

Sorry I was thinking about 2007. But it does show they need to lose a lot more constituency seats than the polls suggesting for it to have a benefit.

Definitely worth SNP 1/2 in some regions, others 2 for someone else.

I suppose that’s a complicated message though…

Unless you live in a region where the SNP are going to lose some constituencies. Really hard to predict. The time they got a majority, they more more list than FPTP seats.

Also Swinney set the bar high at an SNP majority. An Independence majority will be counted as a failure by the usual suspects.

You can probably add The Family Party 25 to that!

Seeded Whole Grain No-Knead Bread: Norwegian bliss in every bite! - Arctic Grub Bread is probably the number one reason I started this blog. Besides seeing my family every time I went back to Norway, one of the most thrilling reunions was with the seeded, whole-grain breads that ...

This loaf is going down a storm at ours. If it can get teenage boys eating whole meal bread, it must be good! Had to make 3 last week…

Enc Britannica can’t write code, translate documents, tell you where to cut a rose bush from a picture, suggest a meal from stuff in your fridge, give advice on high blood pressure and physio for a sore knee. That’s just me today :)

It's not going to go away....not sure what the solution is...more efficent coding to use less energy, renewables to power it.

I’d have a resignation speech handy and the podium dusted, just in case!

Interesting, never knew they were changing! You can see the issues with the current system in Scotland - SNP can get a near clean sweep of the constituency seats, but a vote for them on the list is largely wasted, as they pick up very few, if any, list seats. Makes your second vote a hard pick :)

It's OK, they had loads of spare money from this:
"As of 2014, the paper was paid £900,000 a year to include the supplement Russia Beyond the Headlines, a publication sponsored by the Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the Russian government's official newspaper."

So if we'll have all the storage needed, then we won't need new nuclear?

Funny, the BBC keeps telling us “China isn’t attending, so it’s a waste of time”! That left wing bias again…

Is the fact that these can be nuclear armed not an issue? As a nuclear power, Moscow might be a big twitchy with Cruise missiles heading for Moscow….

Maybe it’s the targets that are under discussion.

'Blue Labour' and the Thiel Effect: How MAGA Is Making In-Roads Into British Politics The ideology of the ‘Make America Great Again’ movement, which has transformed politics in the United States, is having an impact in the UK. But how is this influence being transmitted?

There’s more here on Glasman’s support for Nigel Farage, Steve Bannon and a host of MAGA frontmen here on @bylinetimes.bsky.social

I don’t know why the media aren’t picking up on this. Blue Labour, who are pulling the strings at No10, are essentially Reform wearing a red rosette. The policies make more sense if you look at them from that angle.

Amazing bit of 2019 footage this.

Frei doing a great job of trying to hold Farage to account as he and Nathan Gill go walkabout.

And I suspect Farage will come to regret his quip at the end about Russians if it does the rounds again.
