Yeah I know people are nostalgic for that era, but seriously, go back and re-listen to any of those four songs (Always On Time, I'm Real, Ain't It Funny, Mesmerize) and try to argue to me that any of them are genuinely good.
Its genuinely kind of amazing just how much of the early 2000s pop scene was hardcore rappers trying to make radio-friendly love songs and doing it very badly.
It refuses to make sense that Ja Rule had three #1 hits (almost four) on which he tried to sing. That is simply not acceptable.
