The 4th book is the one (of the ones I've read so far) where I think the book clearly adds a tonne on top of what the adaptation does - the inner monologue loss on TV I think impacts the story. But it's top tier in both formats. Roll on September.

Yeah. Watching Ipswich it is really tough to separate the talent gap issues from just about everything else.
I still mostly think Mckenna is doing a good job there with what he's got, but boy do they struggle to compete with PL teams over 90 minutes.
Sample size with Hirst / Ali Al Hamadi make it difficult to do any kind of on / off comparisons.
But I tend to think if you're going to do 'traits' based scouting being tall, fast, able to dribble, physically competitive in the PL and kicking a ball hard would be up high on my list of green flags.
I wonder if anyone’s ever recommended Piranesi to you?
(I enjoyed To Be Taught If Fortunate recently for something a little more contemplative).
The passing today was 👌🏻. If Levi’s injury (looked like ribs) is anything that causes missed time, BB surely has to be the one to step in.
Chelsea's PR briefing was 'medical issue' but then that they were still willing to offer him a contract, just at reduced terms. How much we should trust that briefing is another matter.
The first episode somehow had my 4 year olds attention for 45 minutes because he was so into all the volcano talk.
Some Paw Patrol episodes don’t hold his attention for that long…
