I did the same when the censorship edict came out at my uni. Depressing results.
Faculty at Texas Tech were required to submit our courses to the Chancellor and Board of Regents for review and potential censorship. After the BOR meeting today, they won’t tell us what they’ve decided.

I don't understand the fixation with how many books people read last year.
I mean... It entirely depends on the books' length and the reader's speed, both of which are completely irrelevant to the enjoyment of it all.

What the current cuts to the Humanities demonstrate is not about career success for students but rather a new bet being placed that Humanities skills (languages, critical thinking, composition) can be turned into service departments staffed by contingent labor at extremely low cost.
They responded, and they're safe and all is well. They appreciated that someone was concerned for them, too, and gave permission to let the first student know they're safe.
People still care about each other and want to help each other be safe.
