Once you see that the Democratic party’s primary purpose for existing, from the ruling class perspective, is to define the absolute left-wing limit of the bounds of acceptable discourse, you can’t unsee it.

In both foreign policy and economic policy, the core belief of Trumpism is that there is some button one can press to instantly and easily solve any problem, and every political leader this country has ever had was simply too cowardly to press it. That’s it.
Worth noting that, as seen in 2024, the one truly *unforgivable* thing our young people can do, for the ruling class, is to get attention for agitating *against Democrats* for being insufficiently progressive, anti-war, and anti-genocide.
