new artists are very transactional / cynical with discord , ease of access means they join, dump their work for crit and never engage again and complain it’s not good anymore.
When i first joined dinusty it was to be part of the community, hang in voice and make friends, you gotta put a bit back in
I am unfortunatly seeing a lot resort to paid mentorships, i enjoy mentoring and love doing it but so often i ask my mentees where there feedback loop is and its non existant, not sure if its lack of awareness of places like discord or discomfort being vocal in those spaces..
I have no idea what to do with this platform, Insta is where my photography lives, ArtStation is where my game art lives, twitter was just a dumping ground for whatever..
Is there anything people actually would want from me on here, what would be interesting or useful ?
