Update no one gives a shit about: played at my LGS's commander night last night and ended up winning on turn 6. Everything according to keikaku.

I haven't yet found a way to reliably win with less than 7 power, but the dream would be to do it at 5. Plenty of cheap, easy, reliable ways to get +3 power, which would allow the deck to pop off even earlier. Right now turn 7 seems to be my sweet spot.

So anyways, I found that most tables don't mind a poke or two for value-building with Obeka, but the moment you start looking a little spooky, they'll stomp you flat. Hence, you only get one strong swing, so you gotta make it count.

It seems like half of edhrec gets it and the other half doesn't. The trick is to get Obeka to 7-9 power, play a Court of Ambition/Embereth/Cunning or Mechanized Production, and get one good game-winning swing. "No one asked!" Shut up I don't care

happy to say I finally cracked the code on Obeka, Splitter of Seconds and now I can honestly play her deck at a bracket 3 table despite zero game changers.

I would be playing Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship, but them's pricey and I have no money.
