Just saw a motorist describe speed bumps as “punishing drivers” like oh no you have to reduce speed slightly, sometimes, you’re right that’s so horrible
How far must you have fallen in life to be making threats of violence against this actual national treasure, a man who, in his more whimsical moments, sings songs to ducks.
everyone loved the tech industry's free music and friendship machines of 20-30 years ago. it's unclear what could be causing people to feel the opposite about the industry's new racism and insanity machine
This is a valid point: whenever you see this sort of high-pressure sales tactic turned on a technology, you can be CERTAIN that it's a fake—actually useful new tech sells itself!
And don't underestimate the effectiveness of FOMO as a tool in the hands of a con artist.
Oh, thank you for the clarification!
Tfw I realise that American therapy training is uh a lot less regulated than ours
This is in fact a perfect description but also the kind of punk girl who gives you pointers at your first mosh pit.
Digital mockup of the two books, fronts and spines. Cover of Foxhunt: a woman with brown skin and eyes and an intense stare, with wisps of smoke like claws framing her face and a fang earring, above swirls of red and green smoke, like a mouth, enclosing a solarpunk city. Cover of Wolfpack: a brown-skinned woman holding a coppery fox mask. She is mostly obscured by red smoke and a little below the title is a domed white building on a green mountain.
I loved redesigning & illustrating the covers for FOXHUNT and WOLFPACK by @remedy.bsky.social!! As of today they're both out in the world!

Let’s just acknowledge that this kind of attack is foundationally antisemitic at its core
This looks like a thoroughly awesome game!
One of the comments to this is like “of all the things to be mad about, not being able to get a credit card is low down the list” and y’all being able to leave shitty men is so important and cannot be done without money.
I'm one of those trans women. I worked ground ops for Artemis I.
I am torn between celebrating the success of my friends and peers and grieving how my dream of working for NASA was shattered by hateful assholes in Tallahassee
It really is just a compliment machine, made by and for guys who weren't getting compliments anymore.
No, it was lovely!
Bursting into the first reading of the bill, waving a large, confused crayfish while yelling "BEHOLD! A MAN!"
Aw, thanks, Aaron! Sparks and Recreation is indeed an city based urban fantasy partially inspired by a ttrpg campaign!

I have not regretted cancelling a ton of my subs to media that is disappointing me and transferring it to media that does not
We didn't deserve this day.
Yeah so he is just going to keep doing the thing where we are in a constant state of uncertainty, confusion, stress, and tension because that is what abusive people do and the people who are in a position to address this are asleep at the switch.
Adding a new item to my author bingo card

I am asking men to consider that someone can be a “good sort” amongst their friends whilst still being a sexual predator or an abuser.
I use prologue for prologues, but I'll often use [AMOUNT OF TIME PASSED] LATER for an epilogue, but also I sometimes write in a genre where people complain if you don't have an epilogue
Lots of tech dudes think the "idea" is the important part of creating, not the creative journey you take through work to give that idea actual meaning. Ideas are the easiest, cheapest and least fulfilling part of it. Giving ideas life through work, and sharing that work with others, is the stuff.
There's something very satisfying about writing an ending you know is going to have your readers cursing your name
So would I tbh
