As AI agents move into real enterprise workflows, teams need a single place to discover, approve, govern, and retire agents, tools, skills, and MCP servers. We need an Agent registry. We now need to manage agents the same way with a registry, policies, and governance from day one.

We stop by the @dash0.com booth during KubeCon Amsterdam 2026 ๐
Dash0 is building an agentic observability platform natively on OpenTelemetry, with a strong focus on transparency, product clarity, and the future of AI-driven observability.

We stopped by the VEXXHOST booth at KubeCon Amsterdam 2026
VEXXHOST's platform Atmosphere runs OpenStack on top of K8s,
For VMware migrations, their MigrateKit tooling helps teams migrate without rebuilding from scratch.

During KubeCon Amsterdam 2026, we stopped by Chainguard booth
Hannah shared how @chainguard.dev is helping teams secure the software supply chain w/zero-CVE container images, rebuilt from source every 24 hours, plus a minimal attack surface for containers & language libraries.

LLM Inference workloads are becoming monolithic, heavy, & hard to scale. That's where platform engineers can embrace llm_d, a new open-source effort thatโs starting to tackle a problem weโre seeing more and more in prod ML stacks!!! ๐ง to @cedricclyburn.com & Christopher Nuland๐ to learn more
Setting up #observability in #Kubernetes is important for monitoring status and debugging issues as they arise. There are many approaches you can take for this, but likely the most common is using #Prometheus and #Grafana. The example below shows setting these up.

Great conversation at Cosmonicโs booth during KubeCon Amsterdam live coverage with @liamrandall.bsky.social on why WebAssembly matters so much for the future of cloud native workloads
A strong look at how WebAssembly, AI, cloud native security are coming together

As AI agents become more autonomous and non-deterministic, orgs need visibility and control over both sanctioned and shadow agents. @tigeraio's approach focuses on discovering agents, auth/authZ-ing them with human-granted or agent-to-agent permissions, & enforcing policies ETE.

Great convo at KubeCon Amsterdam with @tigeraio /
@projectcalico on the future of VM migration into K8s.
Two big themes were how orgs want to lift & shift VMs into K8s while preserving network identity (IP addresses) so apps do not need network rewiring & AI-agent governance:

Great convo @upbound_io booth during #KubeConEU Live coverage #cloudnativefm about how UXP makes @crossplane_io more enterprise-ready. It adds a UI, backup & restore, stronger secrets management through a secrets proxy, & fleet management with Spaces available both as a cloud service & self-hosted.
Q1 2026 CNCF Tech radar says 28% of orgs have a dedicated platform engineering team, most common model is multiple teams collaboratively handling platform capabilities (41%),35% are using a hybrid platform to integrate AI workloads rather than building separate AI stack: www.cncf.io/wp-content/u...
Great conversation with datafy.io at KubeCon Amsterdam 2026
Their approach automatically moves data based on performance and access patterns, with no app impact & no manual effort. A smart, autonomous approach to keeping storage in the right place at the right time.

llm-d has officially joined the CNCF as a Sandbox project, another clear signal that K8s is steadily evolving into the backbone of modern AI infrastructure.

#KubeCon Amsterdam, Teleport Beams is coming in beta at the end of April: sandboxed, ephemeral environments for AI agents
The idea is simple, let agents do useful work with identity and guardrails, but keep them isolated from your core infrastructure by default. A smart answer to secure AI adoption
The shift from traditional #Ingress on #K8s to the #GatewayAPI is well underway for many teams. Gateway API cleanly separates networking concerns into distinct layers, allowing infra & app teams to work independently without stepping on each otherโs toes.

At KubeCon Amsterdam, we explored HOMES GPT an AI layer for observability can query metrics, generate its own PromQL, & answer incident questions like a human operator would. It can run in air-gapped & on-prem environments, and it connects to runbooks & knowledge bases for deeper troubleshooting.
At KubeCon Amsterdam, we find out in the CNCF Technology Radar survey report that organizations with strong internal platform teams are choosing to add AI capabilities to their current platform rather than create a separate AI stack.

#KubeConEU Live Coverage, Sri Aradhyula from Cisco shared a practical view of CAIPE: GenAI agents donโt know your intent or desired outcome, people do. The safest path for Greenfield and Brownfield projects alike is clear human-defined goals plus strong end-to-end test coverage....
At the Falco Project Pavilion during our #KubeCon #Amsterdam live coverage, we explored Falcoโs capture recording feature: trigger-based event capture into SCAP files for forensic analysis, threat hunting, and root-cause debugging.
