Wolves are hoping Denver gets sped up against that lineup and the Nuggets obliged. Lots of quick FGAs (decent looks) that they missed. But I think they can get great looks vs that lineup if they slow it down. Fell into the trap.

On rewatch, 2 of Val's 3 minutes weren't bad. He had a really awful 2 possession sequence that resulted in 6 points. Ant beat him on a step through that he defended horribly Naz drive for and 1 Gave up Oreb on the ensuing FT Fouled Ant

I don't think DEN can defend that lineup but they can punish them inside. Wolves ran hot from 3 but they are much more likely to run hot from 3 when you don't make them pay on the other end. DEN can make them blink but they fed into the run by not having a smart attack on O

I think 90% of game 2 came down to the 8 minute stint of 5-out Wolves vs Jokic in the 2nd quarter. Wolves scored on 10 straight possessions. Jokic only attempted 3 FGs in that stretch. Nuggets seemed unprepared for how to attack that lineup.
