Dr. Mario Escobar from Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine will be joining us at Gogec this year to speak about 'Healing Hearts from Within: Harnessing Epigenetic Tools to Boost Mitochondrial Power'

Our next featured speaker is Dr. Fayaz from the Manipal Institute of Technology who will be speaking about his lab's efforts towards understanding disease-causing mechanisms using systems and synthetic biology approaches

Dr. Josh Atkinson, @electromicrobe.bsky.social from Princeton University will be speaking at this year's Gogec about 'Using Synthetic Biology to Engineer Living Electronics'

Our next speaker to be featured at this year's Gogec is Dr. Jenny Molloy @jenny-molloy.bsky.social from the University of Cambridge who will be speaking about 'DNA Parts to Partnerships: how open source hardware and reagents accelerate synthetic biology in the global South'

Kato Sebunya Emma, will be speaking at Gogec this year about how the @synbio4allafrica.bsky.social initiative is preparing the next generation of synthetic biologists in Africa!
