I was Cassandro, a paladin to the god of Lies, in a game of 13th Age 2e. The session was masterfully run by @burnafterrunning.bsky.social and much fun was had as we rescued an aged gladiator from a docked prison barge and got him to safety by setting the city's bog alight. @the-kraken.bsky.social
I was Dr. Charles, a super mutant limb-severer in a game of Fallout 2D20 on Sunday morning. I was curious and not expecting to like it (haven't been a fan of any 2D20 games I've tried) but it was a fun (original) scenario that really nailed the Fallout vibe. Bravo, Sebastian! @the-kraken.bsky.social
I was an FBI interrogator in what was hands-down the highlight of the Spring Kraken. We played an original Delta Green scenario called Anthropophagy which, needless to say, was appropriately horrible. Handler Andrew K did a wonderful job bringing the horror. @the-kraken.bsky.social #ttrpg
I was the leader of a Gloranthan gang crew called the Eel Handlers in HeroQuest on Saturday afternoon. We had a heist and made a strange delivery in the city of Handra (spread across multiple islands). Very fun game and a pleasure to have had designer Ian Cooper as GM. @the-kraken.bsky.social #ttrpg
I was a shady alley rat in Don't Split the Party on Friday night. After some very confusing group amnesia we were able to confront the big bad and I sacrificed myself for the Greater Goodâ„¢. Fun game despite my initial scepticism of D4 dice pools. @the-kraken.bsky.social #ttrpg
I was a Silk Knight on Friday - able to pull unbreakable (tho flammable?) silk out of my mouth - wandering the realm in pursuit of a deadly Wyvern. After consulting a swamp-sage and throwing in our lot with an elderly lord, we were able to defeat the beast. Fun one-shot! @the-kraken.bsky.social
Great weekend - so cool to be able to "Meet the Tweet" and get a peek behind the curtain, hearing about the innovation happening during the early days of the hobby. Must play Ars Magica soon! Shame I didn't manage to get in a game with you, Gaz, but hopefully I'll be able to rectify that next time.
I still think pirates are better, even though only 2 of us were on that side!! 😅
I'll be starting up my initial playtests of Year Zero Mini 2e soon, but to do so I need a setting to use with the ruleset. I've put together a public poll on my Patreon to gauge the zeitgeist and see which setting I should adapt first. Link to the poll below:

Discord doesnt have a great track record, what with their recent data breach. At first they said face scanning would happen on your device, then be deleted immediately. Then clarified that data would be sent to Persona who would delete it after 7 days. Trust isn't high. And so, @fluxer.app. Fin/
The same Palantir which is building a huge citizen database for use in immigration enforcement and government surveillance, and also used for military targeting. I mean seriously, if you had to make a list of companies around the world that are most dystopian, Palantir would be right at the top. 4/
If you use Discord and care about your privacy, you should be very worried about them using Persona being for face scanning age verification. They say they'll delete your info after verification, but this is a company funded by the creator of the notoriously dystopian government spyware Palantir. 3/
The platform is still in beta so is a bit rough in places (esp with currently one dev) and I'm a little worried that it's soooo similar to Discord that they'll try to take it down with legal action, but the beauty of FOSS is that it could be forked into something less similar, if needed. 2/
I'm very active on #ttrpg Discord servers, but after the recent announcement of age verification using a Thiel-funded service, I've started looking for alternatives. Newcomer on the scene @fluxer.app has people all excited. It's almost a perfect Discord clone, but FOSS and run out of Sweden. 1/
Bumping this - would like to join the HQ server but the link has expired.
"Valentine's Day is so commercial, let's not lose track of the real meaning of this special day the day native Hawaiians stabbed British Captain James Cook right in his colonizing fucking neck on February 14, 1779 <3<3<3"
I moved from Windows to Linux a few months ago & this is something I had to look into. In the end I'm extremely happy with OnlyOffice, which also has a Mac version. Not only is it open source, it's got great compatibility with MS Office files, much much better than both LibreOffice and OpenOffice.
Now you're ready for the Old World. Ready to die in the mud, at least.
Tonight Rasmus and I will be previewing the new #Alien Evolved Edition #ttrpg, specifically using the Lone Survivor #solo rules (at the back of the beta rulebook) and discussing solo character creation, the rules, and then starting a scenario. Join us live in 6 hours!

Hey all, I'm considering starting up some regular #solo #journalling content on my channel later this year. While I'm already familiar with many solo games, I'd love to hear of some more obscure *journalling* games I might not have heard of. Any hidden gems I need to check out?
Awesome, congrats!!
It doesn't get much better than watching ideas become art. If you're not an artist yourself but have an artist friend, schedule a mapmaking RPG with them ASAP and watch magic happen!
Picked this up a few weeks ago and am excited to give it a whirl!
We had a blast even though we didn't get far into it - what a great game you've made!
Tonight we'll be playing a co-op one-shot of HOME, the GM-less mapmaking RPG of mechs vs kaiju by @deepdark.games. This lightweight, narrative game will allow us to flex our improv muscles (and Jacob his amazing artwork artwork!). Join us live in 15 min!

Hey all, what's your favourite digest-format #TTRPG specifically when it comes to layout, and why? Asking for inspiration for my own project.
Looking for Italian #solo #TTRPG players!
I've written the solo rules for #Outgunned (in English) and the Italian publishers are unsure about the "commonplace" Italian words for some solo terms (for the Italian edition of the book).
Pls reply if you can spare a few minutes to help. Thx!
